So I met Marvis through a mutual friend that’s from Atlanta. She recently moved to San Diego from Atlanta though. She was so stoked to work with me, and we’ve been planning our shoot a month in advance. Marvis was just studying poses to do for the shoot, and guess what? She killed it! I’m so glad that Tinsel Tokyo picked this editorial up for their V20 issue! It’s definitely one of my favorite editorials I’ve shot so far! I’m in love with the gold and her skin tone together.
I was so happy to work with Hikari & Alex again, because they’re so amazing! I really have to give big round applause to Hikari with the make up for this shoot. I just love the it so much. I was just giving her ideas and just shooting them out there to her. She just nailed and brought my vision to life!

I had the pleasure of attending this year’s 2014 Agenda Show with fashion blogger Tommy Lei of My Belonging. It was a really fun experience to be part of and I met a lot of other people I knew there too! I also was able to meet the owner of JAKIMAC, who has amazing bondage pieces that I use in a lot of my shoots because of my wonderful stylist, Lillian. We were also able to stop by Matiere, a clothing company that also worked with Tommy in the past. Definitely a great clothing company who cares about what their customer wears.
After that, I took a few snaps for Tommy, check out the photos:
I have this crazy love for boho clothes. I thought it would be awesome to shoot a nomadic look in the desert, and what other clothing would be cool for a wandering nomad than bohemian clothing? I worked with my stylist Lillian and she pulled some awesome clothing for the shoot! I also was able to get some amazing accessories from OIA Jules and Jakimac! I freaking love their stuff. I also got to shoot with an amazing model, Ashley Chung from Photogenics LA.
It was so great that JUTE Magazine picked up the editorial! Be sure to check it out and purchase an issue!

Sadly this year I didn’t get to attend Anime Expo 2014, because I had work, but I did get to photograph my friend who did get to attend! My friend Julian, Madi, and her boyfriend, Jerry cosplayed for Anime Expo this year! My friend Julian dressed up as Yang from RWBY. Then my friend Madi and Jerry cosplayed as Yoko Littner and Kamina from the show Gurren Lagann! It was really exciting to shoot my friends’ cosplay! It was a pleasure photographing these guys! I hope whoever went to Anime Expo this year had a great time!
Got to shoot Mr. Tommy Lei of My Belonging this month and it was such a pleasure because both shoots we were at an event. As usual Mr. Lei is stylish, simple, and clean! So glad I was able to shoot with him this month, he’s usually just too busy for anybody. Be sure to check out more photos on his blog.
Adding on to my month of swim wear I present you my latest editorial with Addison Culler of Photogenics LA featured in Jute Fashion Magazine 2014 issue X is “Ashore”. So happy that I was able to work with my good friend Mymy Dinh again on an editorial, this time I made sure that the photos got published! Not only that I got to work with a stylist Stephanie Bides. With this shoot, we traveled all the way to Malibu, CA to shoot. It was definitely an experience coming all the way out here.

I had the greatest opportunity to photograph Eugenie of Feral Creature’s swim week this month. It was definitely an easy job because we shoot so well on the beach. This beach is different from our regular beaches though, it has more rocks and less sand, so it was a total different scenery from our regular beach shoots. (Shoutouts to Sylvia for showing me the place!)
Check out the swim wear I shot for her:
Eugenie of Feral Creature was able to give me the opportunity to shoot with her for IMSO’s mini lookbook. Which was really fun! We traveled the most known area in the Los Angeles area, Santa Monica Pier. We had fun shooting in the area and it was perfect because the sun wasn’t out at the time!
It’s a little fun and edgy at the same time, perfect for the summer time!
Check out more photos on her blog!
I recently bought a UV Filter for my lens, and it’s doing me wonders, all the blue skies are looking good! (Thanks Sylvia for giving me the basic Photography 101!)
Besides that, this month I shot with blogger Dianna of Vanity Room Blog. We shot a few looks for the summer before she goes back to her country for the summer. She had some awesome swimsuits and this really awesome sports ready to wear outfit. On our adventure to shoot, one guy came up to us thinking I was her husband. Oh Venice Beach is so nice.
Other than that check out more photos on her blog!
I had the pleasure of stopping by Wolf & Man’s design studio the other day with blogger Francis Kenneth. I personally got invited by fashion designer and owner of Wolf & Man, Brian. It was pretty rad to see the clothing they had. It’s definitely what I would wear. I loved, loved, the material they used for their clothing. Francis got to try on some of their clothes and piece together some awesome outfits.
You can follow Francis and check out the looks here:
Ain’t nothing like being able to work and talk to those who are equally creative. Once again, thanks Brian for having Francis Kenneth and I at your studio!
So when I was visiting Georgia, I got to shoot an editorial with model Meghan Otis of Click Models in Atlanta and worked with amazing talents like Jennifer Nieman, who is a make up artist and hair stylist. Both were introduced to me by Jessica Castro, who is an amazing fellow photographer friend of mine. It was a pleasure to work with everyone! I really loved the abandoned mills in Atlanta, so I decided to do a shoot there while everything was still dead and dark looking. I thought this editorial fit perfectly for Dark Beauty Magazine! So I’m glad it got picked up by them!
Take a look at the images and be sure to buy a copy! :]

I had the pleasure of shooting Vika Skyte of Two Management! I had planned to shoot awhile back to shoot with Shiva, but never got the chance to because I had left to Georgia unexpectedly. She was so nice and awesome! With this editorial I particularly aimed for Tinsel Tokyo’s season theme, Wild West. First thing came to my mind was a cowboy, then I thought it would be really cheesy but I looked up some editorials for some inspiration, and it definitely wasn’t cheesy at all. I absolutely loved the looks they had, I’m glad it didn’t come out to be those daisy dukes cowgirls. Also, my hair and make up artist did a wonderful job on this shoot!
But anyways check out my editorial for Tinsel Tokyo!
